Dr. Gandhi of Partners in Pelvic Health North Shore Urogynecology is a urogynecologist who serves patients in and around the Park City area. His practice is here to help women in the community with their pelvic health concerns, which may include urinary incontinence, infections, prolapse and female sexual dysfunction. We understand the many conditions that can affect women and provide surgical and non-surgical treatments for all of these concerns. Below are just a few of the surgical procedures available through our practice for Park City area patients:

procedures offered by urogynecologist

Sling placement, revision, or removal

Slings are placed underneath the urethra to hold it in place for patients who deal with pelvic floor dysfunction. They are surgically implanted into the pelvic region as an effective and affordable method of handling stress urinary incontinence, or SUI.

Mesh complication surgery and removal

Patients who have had vaginal mesh placed to improve conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse may find they deal with certain complications such as pain, erosion, and infection. In cases such as this, patients may decide to have their mesh altered or removed.

Hysterectomy

Many women are candidates for surgical procedures such as a hysterectomy. This may be done not only for women who are no longer interested in bearing children, but for those who deal with concerns such as uterine prolapse, endometriosis, uterine or cervical cancer, or chronic pelvic pain.

Cystocele, rectocele, and enterocele repair

Some common pelvic organ prolapse concerns include cystocele, rectocele, and enterocele. While these may be addressed with changes in the diet and the strengthening of the muscles, some patients may require surgical intervention for relief.

Vaginal rejuvenation and tightening

Some patients may require their vagina to be tightened for a variety of reasons. Some of the most common types of vaginal surgeries include labiaplasty, hoodectomy, and vaginoplasty.

Bladder surgery

When other methods of addressing overactive bladder have failed, patients may begin to consider bladder surgery as a permanent solution to their concerns.

Dr. Gandhi of the Partners in Pelvic Health North Shore Urogynecology is committed to assisting women in feeling healthy and confident. Patients in and around the areas of Park City, Lake Forest, Woodstock and Chicago Suburbs are encouraged to contact his practice to schedule a consultation appointment and examination.
