vaginal discharge

and what they mean

Clear

CREAM AND MILKY WHITE

This is normal, healthy discharge that could signal ovulation, pregnancy or arousal.

This is usually normal discharge unless there is an odd texture or odor.

Yellow to green

PINK

This could be a sign of infection or may be a result of a dietary change or new vitamins.

This is often a sign of light bleeding either after intercourse or at the start of your cycle.

Red to brown

GREY

This is normal during periods and may occur at other times if you have an irregular menstrual cycle, but it could be a sign of infection.

This may be a sign of bacterial vaginosis.
